Carnival Update for Blossom Festival 2026

The Carnival – Where Things Stand

In 2025, the festival faced a significant challenge when Wright's Amusements Giant Carnival chose not to return and be included as part of the event. Since then, the Blossom Festival Board has been actively working to bring this cherished experience back to our community.

Here’s what that process has looked like:

  • Land Search and Approval
The Board has gone through an extensive and rigorous process to identify and secure suitable land that meets the requirements for a traveling carnival.

  • Vendor Outreach
Multiple carnival companies have been contacted and vetted to find a partner that aligns with safety, logistics, and community expectations.

  • Current Challenge
The biggest hurdle now is timing. May is early in the carnival season, and with unpredictable spring weather in Colorado, many carnival providers are hesitant to commit to this location and timeframe.

Despite these challenges, progress has been made, and conversations are ongoing.
