For 19 years, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. The runBlossom 5K event showcases the Arkansas Riverwalk Trail, running alongside the river and through some of the most scenic portions of the area.

Canon City Music & Blossom Festival presents the first-ever Blossom Ball
Friday, April 28th
7:00-10 pm at the Abbey Events Complex
$80 per person or $150 per couple.
Usher in spring with a fun night including a seated dinner, a DJ and dancing, photography and a photobooth by Ground2Air Productions, and a Silent Auction with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the 4th of July Fireworks Fund!
Guests will also receive a one-of-a-kind commemorative wine glass, and much more!!

This year we've added a virtual option, allowing participants to join us virtually at your their own pace on a day that works best for you! (Virtual participants will not be eligible for age-group awards, but will receive a bib and shirt in the mail.)
As part of the City of Cañon City's Sesquicentennial Celebration, we invite our runners to partake in a 'Decades' outfit theme. Dress in your favorite decade's clothing!
